\nThe Stopcock of this Burette has been designed in such a way as to make it completely leakproof. This stopcock contains a plug made of PTFE which does not require any greasing because of its self-lubricating nature. \n \nThe Acrylic Body is unaffected by dilute mineral Acids & Ammonium Hydroxide. The pH range of 1-14 is ideal and up to 5%, w/w of Acids, or 30% bases can be used. \n \nCaution: This Burette should not be exposed to organic solvents & alcohols. The cracking of this burette is likely if it is bent or stuck sharply against a hard surface. \n \nCleaning: Always clean the Burette with a mild solution of soap or detergent. Acid cleaning solutions or wire-handled brushes are not at all recommended. The PTFE can be taken out by squeezing & slipping off the retaining o-ring.
