The 8way and 6way PDU is used to provide power distribution to products contained within a 19"(482.6mm) rackmount cabinet, enclosure or frame. The design of these particular PDUs allows for vertical mounting. They are supplied with the brackets in the horizontal fixing position, but simply by reversing the brackets they can be mounted vertically. This will also allow them to be fixed to floors, walls, desks or other such surfaces. The 1U slimline body means they use the minimum space required. The switch is slimline and has a raised collar, to help prevent any accidental switch off to essential equipment.
