Mont Marte Crackle Paste can be used to create interesting textures and crackle effects on your artwork surface. This opaque medium has a white base and can be applied to canvas, wood and other surfaces.

Once applied Crackle Paste cracks as it dries, creating fissures and a web of cracks on the painting surface. When fully dried paint can be applied over the top of the now textured surface.

Can be applied to a range of surfaces provided they have some level of absorbency so that the medium can bind to the surface. The medium can be tinted with acrylic paint, however, this may affect the level of cracks once dry.
