What is Acne –   Acne Vulgaris can be characterised into three different groups; 

• Hormonal,
• Cystic, 
• Stress-induced. 

Because breakouts aren’t exclusive to our adolescents, this set of crafted ingredients formulated to be both clarify and repair, harnesses the combined power of Vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Salicylic Acid and the hydrating benefits of Hyaluronic Acid  to target acne as well as the pesky signs of ageing. 

• 2% salicylic acid – Studies demonstrated that twice daily application of 2% Salicylic Acid was significantly better than the placebo in mild to moderate acne. Significant benefit from the active therapy was evident at 4, 8 and 12 weeks when total lesion counts were assessed

• 20% Vitamin C – Studies showed that people treated with Vitamin C vs placebo over 6 weeks results in reduced redness associated with acne vulgaris.

• 3.5% Niacinamide – Six of eight studies using topical Nicotinamide led to a significant reduction in acne compared with the patient’s baseline or performed similarly to another standard-of-care acne treatment.

• 2.5% Retinol – The retinol group showed  significant and progressive improvements from baseline at week 4 and 8, in nearly all efficacy parameters. At week 8 the retinol moisturiser group was statistically better than the control in the overall improvement of all wrinkles, pigmentation, elasticity, firmness and overall photo damage.
