HI-70300 pH Electrode Storage Solution (500 mL), Hanna, Romania. HI-70300 is a storage solution prepared with reagent-grade chemicals that can be used to ensure maximum performance of your pH and ORP electrodes. \n \nAfter cleaning your electrode with one of our wide range of cleaning solutions, rinse with tap water, then soak the electrode in Hanna's specially formulated Storage Solution (HI-70300 or HI-80300) before taking measurements. pH 4.01 or pH7.01 buffer solution can be used if the Storage Solution is running low. \n \nBetween measurements, storage solutions minimize microbial growth and prevent any effects of diffusion and Osmosis, as well as keeping the sensor tip and reference junction hydrated and clear – all-important for an optimum response time and measurement. \n \nAir-tight bottles with tamper-proof seals ensure the quality and freshness of the storage solution. Each bottle is marked with a batch number and expiry date. \n \nPlease note: \n \npH or Oxide Reduction Potential (ORP) electrodes should never be stored in distilled or deionized water as it will shorten the life of the sensor.
