1) Clean the skin using a mild cleanser. Then take few drops of olive oil and massage well on the skin.
Keep for 15 minutes. Then wipe the skin using a wet towel. Using olive oil in this way will remove the tan.
2) You can use olive oil in one more way if your skin gets sunburnt. Mix half a cup of lavender essential oil with one cup of olive oil. Apply it on the tanned area four to five times a day. You will see that both skin irritation and burning have reduced.
3) You can also remove tan by using olive oil as a moisturizer. Mix a few spoons of extra virgin olive oil in the bath water. Now bathe with that water. If you wipe your face after bathing, you will see that the skin looks soft. It will not tan the skin easily. Also the skin will be soft in winter.
