Rubia cordifolia L. (RC) is a valuable medicinal plant in the Ayurvedic system owing to its multiple pharmacological properties. RC is also known as Manjistha, several beneficiary roles such as antioxidant, potent blood purifier, calcium channel blocker, diuretic, antiplatelet, antidiabetic, anti-stress, and vasodilating properties in cardiac health.

Usage:

For increasing brightness/ removing acne scars:

Mix rubia cordifolia powder with multani mati powder, potato powder, pomegranate peel powder, punarnava, lentil powder, kosturi holud powder, orange peel powder into a face pack and apply. For better results, add 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil with it.

For removing pimples:

Mix rubia cordifolia powder with multani mati powder, kosturi holud powder 1 pinch, Neem, Pudina, Tulsi powder with 2-3 drops of tea tree essential oil and apply it on your skin. 

For removing redness of skin:

Mix rubia cordifolia powder with multani mati powder, potato powder, sankha powder with 2-3 drops of orange and lemon essential oil and apply it on your skin. 

For removing dead skin cells:

Mix rubia cordifolia powder with kosturi holud powder, orange peel powder, sajna and charcoal powders with 1-2 drops of lavender or tea tree essential oil and apply it on your skin. This will help to remove dead skin cells from your skin.

As a hair pack:

For making a hair pack, add rubia cordifolia powder with 5-7 drops of rosemary essential oil and apply it 2-3 times a week. This will make your hair soft, silky and shiny.
