The liquorice plant is an herbaceousperenniallegume native to Western Asia, North Africa, and Southern Europe. Botanically, it is not closely related to anise or fennel, which are sources of similar flavoring compounds. 

Liquorice extracts have been used in herbalism and traditional medicine.Licorice root contains over 300 chemical compounds and flavonoids. Glycyrrhizin, the most active chemical compound found in licorice, has been studied for its medicinal properties. Usage:

For reducing acne:

Mix Liquorice powder with Multani mati powder, 1 pinch of  Kosturi powder, Neem powder, Pudina, Tulsi powder with 2-3 tea tree essential oil and apply it on your skin 4 times a week. 

For increasing brightness and removing acne scars:

Mix Liquorice powder, take Liquorice powder with Multani mati powder, potato powder, Punarnava powder, pomegranate peel powder, Lentil powder, Kosturi powder, orange peel powder and mix it into a pack. For better results, add 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil and apply.

For removing fine lines and wrinkles:

Take Liquorice powder with rose petal powder, 2 pinches of  Kosturi powder, Sajna and 2-3 rosemary essential oil, mix it into a pack, and apply it on your skin.
