These Getwell Blood Glucose Test Strips are high-precision biosensors designed specifically for use with Getwell Glucose Monitoring Systems. Known for their reliability and ease of use, these strips are an essential component for individuals managing diabetes who require frequent and accurate blood sugar tracking.
Key Performance Features
- Advanced Biosensor Technology: Utilizes high-quality enzymes to ensure clinical-grade accuracy and high specificity, minimizing interference from non-glucose sugars.
- No Coding Technology: The "Auto-Code" feature ensures the meter automatically recognizes the strip batch, eliminating the need for manual coding and preventing user error.
- Rapid 5-Second Results: Provides a clear and accurate reading in just 5 seconds, making it one of the faster systems available for home use.
- Minimal Blood Sample: Requires only a tiny droplet of blood (approx. $0.5\ \mu\text{l}$), which allows for shallower lancing and a more comfortable testing experience.
- Automatic Siphoning: The "top-fill" design ensures that blood is quickly and efficiently drawn into the reaction chamber upon contact.

Instructions for Use
- Preparation: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Moisture on the fingers can affect the chemical reagent on the strip.
- Insert: Push a fresh test strip into the meter. The device will power on automatically.
- Lancing: Obtain a small blood drop using a sterile lancing device.
- Application: Touch the tip of the strip to the blood drop. Ensure the reaction window is completely filled.
- Reading: Your blood sugar level will appear on the LCD screen after the 5-second countdown.
Important Safety & Storage
- Close the Vial: Always snap the vial lid shut immediately after removing a strip. Exposure to air and humidity is the leading cause of strip degradation.
- Do Not Transfer: Keep the strips in their original vial. The vial walls contain a special desiccant to keep the environment dry.
- Expiry Date: Always check the expiration date printed on the vial. Discard any strips that are past their expiry or have been open for more than 90 days.
- Single Use: Never reuse a test strip.
Note: For the most consistent results, try to test at the same time each day—such as first thing in the morning (fasting) or two hours after a main meal. Keep a log of your readings to share with your healthcare provider during check-ups.
