Instruction Manual: STI Advance Mesh Nebulizer (Portable & no Rechargeable)

The STI Advance Mesh Nebulizer is a high-performance, vibrating mesh device designed for efficient respiratory therapy. This manual provides the necessary steps to operate, clean, and maintain your device to ensure long-term reliability and clinical accuracy.

1. Device Components

  • Main Unit: The base containing the rechargeable battery and power button.
  • Medication Cup: The detachable chamber where liquid medicine is placed.
  • Mesh Disc: The delicate metal plate inside the cup (do not touch).
  • Attachments: Adult mask, child mask, and inhalation mouthpiece.
  • USB Cable: For charging the internal lithium battery.

2. Preparing for Use

  1. Charging: Connect the USB cable to the main unit and a power source. A light indicator will typically show the charging status (usually Red for charging, Blue/Green for fully charged).
  2. Sterilization: Before first use, clean the medication cup and attachments (see Section 5).
  3. Assembly: Align the medication cup with the slots on the main unit and slide/click it into place until it is securely attached.

3. Operating Instructions

  1. Adding Medication: Open the yellow or grey rubber cap on top of the medication cup. Pour the prescribed liquid medication into the chamber (Max: 10 ml). Close the cap tightly.
  2. Attaching Interface: Push your chosen mask or the mouthpiece onto the spray nozzle on the front of the cup.
  3. Power On: Press the START/STOP button once. The device will begin to emit a fine mist.
  4. Inhalation: Hold the nebulizer upright. Place the mask over your nose and mouth (or use the mouthpiece) and breathe in slowly and deeply.
  5. Automatic Shut-off: The device will automatically turn off when the medication is exhausted. You can also press the button manually to stop at any time.

4. Self-Cleaning Mode (Recommended after every use)

To prevent the mesh from clogging, follow these steps:

  1. Add a small amount of distilled water or warm water (below 40°C) to the medication cup.
  2. Press and hold the START/STOP button for 3–5 seconds.
  3. The light will flash, and the device will enter Cleaning Mode, spraying the water to flush out any leftover medication from the mesh holes.

5. Manual Cleaning & Disinfection

  • After Every Use: Detach the medication cup. Rinse it and the attachments with distilled water. Shake off excess water and let them air dry in a clean environment.
  • Disinfection: Once a day, soak the medication cup and masks in a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts distilled water for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.

6. Important Safety Warnings

⚠️ DO NOT TOUCH THE MESH: Never touch the metal mesh disc with your fingers, cotton swabs, or needles. This will cause permanent damage and void the warranty.

⚠️ NO VISCOUS LIQUIDS: Do not use essential oils, cough syrups, or highly viscous medications. Use only medications specifically prescribed by your doctor for nebulization.

⚠️ WATER SENSITIVITY: While the medication cup is washable, the Main Unit (base) contains electronics. Never submerge the base in water or wash it under a tap. Wipe it with a damp cloth only.
