The Getwell Compressor Nebulizer is a heavy-duty, medical-grade device designed for the effective treatment of lower and upper respiratory tracts. Unlike portable mesh versions, this compressor-based system uses a powerful motor to create a high-velocity air stream, making it highly effective for thick medications and frequent, long-term use at home.
Key Performance Features
- Powerful Piston Compressor: Built for durability and consistent performance, the motor provides the high pressure needed to aerosolize even the most viscous respiratory medications.
- Effective Aerosol Delivery: Produces an ultra-fine mist with a high percentage of particles in the $1\ \mu\text{m}$ to $5\ \mu\text{m}$ range, ensuring medicine reaches deep into the lungs.
- Continuous Operation: Designed for reliability, this machine can handle multiple back-to-back treatments, making it ideal for families with multiple users.
- One-Button Operation: Simple, intuitive design allows users of all ages to start their treatment with a single flip of a switch.
- Built-in Storage: Many Getwell models feature a dedicated compartment for the power cord and accessories, keeping everything organized and hygienic.
- Comprehensive Kit: Comes ready to use with specialized attachments for both pediatric (children) and adult patients.

Maintenance & Hygiene
- Filter Change: Check the air filter once a month. If it appears grey or dirty, replace it with a fresh one to protect the motor and ensure clean air.
- Daily Cleaning: After every use, wash the mask, mouthpiece, and medication cup with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry.
- Disinfection: Once a week, soak the accessories (excluding the tubing) in a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water for 15 minutes.
- Tubing Care: Do not wash the inside of the air tube. If moisture appears inside the tube, connect it to the compressor and run the machine for a few minutes to blow the moisture out.
Pro Tip: This compressor model is particularly well-suited for younger children who may need a mask for longer durations, as it provides a very steady and forceful flow of medication compared to smaller handheld units.
