Aluminium Venetian Blind
Thin aluminium slats, tilting through a full range and stacking to almost nothing at the top. The metal is the reason to choose it: it does not swell, warp or stain in a humid kitchen, it wipes clean with a damp cloth, and it holds a crisp line for years.
Tilt is the control that matters. Angle the slats upward and a hard afternoon sun becomes diffused ceiling light; angle them down and you keep the sky and lose the street.
Semi Blackout: Blocks most light. A thin outline may show at the edges of the blind.

Care and cleaning
Tilt the slats closed to form a flat face, run a duster or vacuum brush down them, then tilt the other way and repeat. A damp cloth is fine on aluminium.
